- [Narrator] Once you built your structure map and linked your story cards to your main board. The next step is assigning shoot dates to your scenes so you'll have a visual representation of your entire schedule. As mentioned previously, if you've been handed mountains of footage for a project that's already wrapped. Well, you can probably skip this lesson. But if you do have a shooting schedule this will be useful whether you're working in unscripted or scripted. We're here in our main board, our structure map template, and what I'm gonna do is that I'm gonna start assigning shoot dates to these various scenes based on your shooting schedule. Now before I move any further and talk about adding shoot dates, I want to refer you to the lesson at the end of chapter two about adding custom fields. If your workflow calls for multiple due dates.
