- [Trainer] After organizing your structure map to track your scenes, your schedule and your various post-production paperwork, the next step is assigning colors to help you track your progress. I use specific colors to let me know what material is yet to be shot, has been shot, what's edited and anything that I assign to my assistant to cut. As I talked about in previous lessons, we're gonna go and we're gonna start assigning colored labels to this board and then to individual cards. And there's two ways to do that. The first of which is to click on the card, click labels and edit from here and then of course, we can always use our hotkey l as we hover over the card I'm going to hit l and bring up our labels. Now, unlike project management where you want to have all these different various steps, what I'm doing with colors on my structure map at first, is just using them to help me track my progress.
