Understanding orthographic and perspective

- [Instructor] There are two different view modes, orthographic and perspective and you can find the button to toggle between these modes at the bottom of the navigation controls. We're in perspective mode now. This looks like the world around you. Objects that are further away are smaller. The edges of the shapes recede to a vanishing point far in the distance. Now switch to orthographic mode. See the difference? The sides of the box are all the same length. The edges are parallel and the two boxes are shown the same size, even though one is further away. Okay, switch back to perspective view. I usually prefer to stay in perspective mode when I'm working in Tinkercad with a few exceptions. One of those is working in a flat view, like front or side.
