Introducing Shape Generators

- [Narrator] Shape generators and Tinkercad provide a variety of customizable shapes to incorporate into your project. You'll find the shape generators on the dropdown menu. Today will look at the featured shaped generators. There are many generators to choose from, and you can even create your own. Designs run the gamut from mathematical forms to maps and decorative shapes or useful parts like clips or bent pipes. Today we'll use the extrusion generator, I'll Drake that onto the work plane and then I use the shortcut key F to fit to view. This looks sort of unsuspecting pretty basic, but the shape allows you to create a wide variety of organic extruded shapes. Here in the inspector we have a profile and we can adjust these points, pulling them out, or adjusting them in. We can also create sharp corners by holding down the Alt + Option key and dragging the handles. This looks and feels a lot like illustrator though the…
