Importing a 3D scan

- To finish the base of our trophy, let's add a 3D scan. In Tinkercad it's really easy to incorporate STL files that were created in other programs. Let's go to the Import panel and we'll choose a file. You can find the Zach_LowResolution scan in the exercise files for this course. Choose to open it, and then click "Import". Now it's giving me an error, it's telling me that this scan is too small to be imported, and recommending a scale factor to use, so I will type that in and choose "Import". You can see the scan there, it's actually in the center of my base, and so I'm going to use the cone grip on the top to just bring it out so I can see it. This scan is actually still pretty small; I'm going to click and drag it to the side, zoom in on it a little bit closer. I'm going to use the curvy grips to rotate it 90 degrees. Then I'm going to show you a little trick for accurately placing objects one on top of another using copy-paste. So I can go up to the Edit menu and choose "Copy" or…
