Creating an finial shape

- This is the final step in our mini project, creating a finial. We'll do that by creating an intersection shape. All right, zoom in and let's orbit. You can click on the 2D profile and let's rotate this to stand it up. Click and drag the curvy arrow to 90 degrees and use the shortcut key D to drop it onto the work plane. Let's check the dimensions. I'll mouse over this corner grip. This is 34 by 20, I'll adjust the 20 millimeter measurement to 34 millimeters. Now we want to make a rotated copy, hold down the alt or option key, and then grab the curvy arrow and go around to 90 degrees. Let's turn that shape into a hole. And we want to add a box that is the same measurement as our project here, which is 34 by 34 by 40. Let's type in those values. Perfect. Zoom out, just a touch. Okay, the brown profile. Let's go ahead and hide that, we don't need it right now. Choose the hole profile and the box. We're going to align…
