- Now let's create a circular pattern with some spheres around our crest. Let's navigate to the Geometric Shapes. We'll choose a Sphere, and bring it into the work space. And we wanna make this a little bit smaller. I'll hold down Shift and drag the grip to re-size it. And then I wanna make it just a little bit oblong as well. I'm gonna navigate to a top view. And I'm gonna choose to push this down into sort of a center position on this crest. And then I'll just use my arrow keys to push it out a little more towards the edge. All right, so now we're gonna go ahead and use Smart Duplicate to create a circular pattern. I'll click on my Sphere. I'm gonna use Command D, to duplicate that. We saw the flash of yellow green. I'm gonna pull out that second shape with my mouse. And place it. Now to do a circular pattern, you need to rotate the Sphere slightly.
