Copying objects

Copying objects

- Let's add some more geometry to our base by copying and scaling objects. I'll start by resetting the work plane. First I'll click on the cylinder then hold down the shift key and select the torus to select them both at the same time. Now to copy them and move them in one step I'm gonna hold down the alt option key while I click and drag on that top cone to create a second copy. I'll just drag it up into space. And then rotate around to get a little bit better look. Now first off, I want this sort of second series of shapes to be a little bit smaller, a little lighter as we're going up in the air. So click on the cylinder. I'm going to decrease the height. and click on the torus and also decrease its height. Pull it up into the center. I'll use a bounding box to select them both. And I'm gonna push them down closer to the red shapes so that they're intersecting. That looks good. Select both of those shapes again. And then this time, I want to scale them. So I'll hold the alt key…
