- [Instructor] When you rotate a shape in Tinkercad, it rotates around the shape's center. What if you want to rotate around a different point? Let me show you a workaround. In the provided exercise file, you'll see the start of a propellor design. I want to make a propellor with three blades. I'll need to duplicate and rotate this blade around the center of the cylinder. Okay, let's get started. I'm already in orthographic mode. First, let's place the cylinder. Up on the view cube, choose the left side of the top view. And then zoom in a little bit. The first thing I want to do is place the center of the cylinder on the edge midpoint of the propeller blade, and I'll do that with Copy to Shape. Click on the cylinder, Control + C to copy. Select the propellor blade, Control + V. You can select and delete that original cylinder. And now let's switch to a top view. To rotate around the center of the cylinder, I need a…
