- [Instructor] Let's talk about color in Tinkercad. It's easy to change the color of shapes in Tinkercad, we just use the inspector. Bring a box onto the workplane, click on Solid in the inspector and there are a number of presets to choose from. You can also choose a custom color. Drag the hue slider around and adjust the value or use the RGB sliders. You even have the opportunity to enter a hex code if you're trying to match web content. What about color in groups? You may have noticed that group shapes take on a single color. Let's try it. Drag a cylinder into the space and cross it with the box. I'll click on the box first, shift select the cylinder and choose group. It automatically changes to the color of the box. But if you want a multicolored shape, you can adjust after grouping. Click on Solid and then choose Multicolor. When grouping, select the shapes that you'd like to be the dominant color first. In…
