His consulting clients have included numerous Fortune 500 corporations such as: GE, GE Capital, Verizon, Cargill, Reliant Energy, London Life Insurance, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, and various agencies of the United States government.
As a recognized expert on strategy execution, merger integration, workforce productivity improvement, organizational transformation, and culture change, Tim is often asked by the business media to provide insights on these topics. He has been featured on CNBC, Reuters Television, and National Public Radio, and quoted in various publications throughout the world.
Tim Galpin has authored numerous articles for publications, including: Mergers & Acquisitions, Journal of Business Strategy, The Handbook of Business Strategy, and Corporate Governance. In addition to his articles, Tim has published four management books, including the best-selling "how-to" book on merger and acquisition due diligence and integration, The Complete Guide to Mergers and Acquisitions.
Tim Galpin was the recipient of the first annual 2010 University of Dallas Haggerty Teaching Excellence Award. He was also an instructor at the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). Tim Galpin holds a PhD in organization development from UCLA, and a masters degree in management from Southern Illinois University.
