- [Instructor] Alpha testing is a touchy subject for development teams. They have worked hard to create an app that works and alpha is the first, putting a critical eye on the product. You want to launch your test flawlessly because if you start out with testing issues, it will carry through the whole test. Development will lose confidence in your test and begin to question your results. A big risk is building a new plan when you haven't even seen the product. You're basically walking in unknown territory trying to define what's the best approach to testing. A good place to start is in the past. Look at past successful test projects. Your preparations can leverage past testing and use them as a starting point for discussions.
