- [Instructor] Now, ideally, every model…should share the same starting point…and the same orientation for all the models.…But sometimes, that's not the case.…You may receive a model that's not aligned…to the rest of the project.…So, ideally, we should request…the author of that model to use…the same starting point and orientation as us.…But, let's say you receive a model…that is not correct and you want to position it correctly.…You can do that inside tekla BIMsight.…So let's say this structural file…is not in the correct place.…
So, when you select a file here,…you will have three buttons at the bottom.…One to move, rotate, and align.…So I'm going to click on move here.…So we can move by typing the distances here,…so I can move on elevation…and X and Y…or I can move the distance.…Another way to move the model is also…by clicking one point and then the other.…So I'm going to click here on this wall,…and then move to here.…So notice that I have repositioned the model…about 10 meters here.…
You can also rotate the models.…
