Creating measures
- [Teacher] Next, on mark-ups, we're going to add some dimensions. And we're going to do that by using the distance tool. And the way it works is, we activate the distance and then we can measure distance between two different points, or between two different edges, or even between two different planes. For example, if I want a distance between the top of this roof and this slab, we can get the distance here. You can also add dimensions using different units. So, to do that, we go to settings and then change here on measurement, the units from millimeters, let's say, to inches. And then I'm going to measure this same roof to slab and we have that distance in inches. I'm going to to back to millimeters for now. So I'm going to click here, millimeters, close. And notice that that click keeps the unit that we use when we created the dimensions. Now remember to switch off the distance here so we stop measuring. So I can click here, or press escape.
