What is a chat bot?
- [Instructor] A chat bot is an automated assistant that responds to a question you ask in a private one-to-one chat, a private group chat, or a channel conversation. When the bot receives your inquiry it searches on your behalf all of the Microsoft 365 cloud-enabled services that you have access to, and it then replies with an answer if it can find one. Here are a couple of examples of how you can chat with a bot. Chung sends a chat message to Jen and then realizes that she's out of the office. Instead of waiting for Jen to get back to the office, he sends a chat message to the Who bot asking the same question and gets an immediate response with the information he needed. Here's another example. Jen sends an email to her colleagues asking when they can meet about their project. She gets many different responses and must sort through all of these to figure out when they can meet and then manually set up the team's…
