From the course: Tasks in Microsoft Teams: First Look

Stay organized with Microsoft Teams

- [Heather] You likely jump from app to app throughout your work day to track and manage tasks. Think of the time you spend going to the Outlook app or the to-do app to create new tasks for yourself or to mark those tasks as complete, and how much time you spend switching to the Planner app to track and manage shared tasks across a group. With so many Microsoft task management apps and services, it may be challenging for you and fellow teammates to stay up-to-date on everything in those disconnected workspaces. I'm Heather Severino, a Microsoft certified trainer, and Microsoft most valuable professional for Office apps and services. Over my career, I've helped many organization's workforces learn how to be more productive with project and task management by integrating connected Office and Microsoft 365 apps and services into their daily workflows. I understand the struggles you may incur with juggling tasks throughout your work day, and I'm going to help you unlock how to be more focused in your work by bringing all of these tasks together in one central hub. That's Microsoft Teams. This course includes setting up lists for your individual tasks, creating plans for shared tasks in Team channels, managing tasks, and configuring app settings. Join me for my tasks and Teams course.
