URL actions

- [Instructor] One action that we can use with the dashboard is a URL action. This is really useful if we have information that's accessible by URL. We can build it into our dashboards to allow or our user to click on one of the elements in the dashboard and take us to an external web page. First, we're gonna build the action. It's dashboard Actions, and add URL. We'll give it a name, for example, Go to Google. We then have to decide which of our sheets for it to work on. For our example, we're gonna use all three. We then have to decide what action to work on. We can choose Hover, Select, or Menu. We definitely don't want to use Hover, because otherwise any time the mouse moves over an element, our web site is gonna pop up. Select is sometimes a good choice, but often people also use Select for dragging and dropping. The best choice is the Menu option. So now we enter our URL and click OK. Now when we select an item, we get a URL link at the bottom. We click on this and the web page…
