Summarizing data using a smart histogram: Tableau 10 Essential Training

Histograms summarize data in a vertical bar chart, where each bar represents the count of data points that occur within a given value range. For example, you could create a histogram to count the days with 0-20 walk-in customers, 21-40, 41-60, and so on. Tableau lets you edit the bin size, with suggested values based on the program’s analysis of your data.
