Solution 5: Aggregate data

(echoing sound) - [Instructor] Here's the solution to the challenge on aggregations. So this is our starting flow where we have our flight data, we've cleaned it, we've joined the other data together, and combined it in a union and reported some flight delay data. Now that was summary information. We now want to bring in the full data set to do a better join of that data. So first thing is I need to import the data from the Full Flight Delays CSV file. And we can see that this has lots of records. So first thing we want to do is create an aggregation. Now I'm interested in the average delay time, not the default sum. So, click on Sum. Change it to Average and the overall average for all of the records is 15 minutes. Now I want to subdivide that out by both the unique carrier ID and the tail number. So let's put the carrier ID in the group and now we'll add our tail number. Let's check that looks okay. So now for each carrier and each tail number we have the average for each one of our…
