Perform correlation: Statistics with Excel Part Two

Correlation is a way to assess the relationship between two variables. When correlation is positive, the two variables increase and decrease together. When correlation is negative, the two variables vary inversely: As the first variable increases the second decreases, and as the first decreases the second increases. When correlation is zero, the variables are not related. Learn the fundamentals of correlation, and its relationship with regression, for a deep understanding of this important concept.
