- [Voiceover] Here's the solutions that challenge. First we're gonna connect to our global styles data. We can find that in the excel sheet in your exercise folder. Next we need to clean it up using the data interpreter. For that we click the button. The next step is to pivot the data. So we're gonna select the years that we want to pivot and from the drop down select pivot. Next step is to remove the extra column that we don't need anymore and rename the field now to something more useful. Now we're gonna make a second connection to our secondary data source. For this, we click on add and this is a TD file so we need to use other files. We're gonna navigate to our exercise folder and select world indicators.tde. This contains a single sheet called extract. So we'll pull it into our data window. Now note Tableau is unable to create the join first automatically.
