Create a visualization in Tableau

- [Instructor] Once you have your data in Tableau, you can use it to create a visualization. The available viz types depend on your data, and what you add to the worksheet, but you will likely have lots of types to choose from. I'll demonstrate how to create a visualization, and to change it in this movie. My sample file is 02_04_CreateViz. That's a workbook you can find in the Chapter 2 folder of the Exercise Files collection. Over on the left side of my screen, I have dimensions, which are facts about my data. That could be the customer name, order date, order number, and so on. And below that, I have measures. Those are the price and the quantity, and order total, which is price times quantity. So in other words, the amount that was spent for each order. To create a visualization based on this data, I just need to drag my dimensions onto the viz.
