Changing a worksheet’s tab color
- [Instructor] When you create a Tableau workbook, you will want to bring your colleague's eyes to the most important data. That usually means calling out the worksheet, and one way to do that is to change its tab color. In this movie, I will show you how to highlight a worksheet tab by changing its color. My sample file is the TabColor workbook, and you can find it in the Chapter03 folder of your Exercise Files collection. This workbook contains three worksheets. I have CategoryActive, CategoryBackup, which contains exactly the same data, and then sheet two, which is blank. Let's say that I want to call my colleague's attention to the CategoryActive worksheet. To do that, I can right-click that sheet tab, and then from the menu that appears, point to Color, and then point to a color from the palette. In this case, I'll click Green. And you can see that in the tab bar, CategoryActive, being the active worksheet, currently has a green bar underneath it. If I switch to another…
