Arranging and formatting dashboard elements

- [Instructor] After you create a dashboard in Tableau 10, you can add extra elements to it to flesh out its design. In this movie, I will show you how to do that. My sample file is the format dashboard workbook, and you can find it in the chapter 13 folder of the exercise files collection. I have three items on my dashboard and what I'd like to do is to add a text box and an image. To do that, I'll go over to the dashboard tab, and then in the objects group, I will double click text. Doing so opens the edit text dialogue box and here I can type in whatever it is that I want to add. So in this case I'll say 2015 and 2016. I will highlight the text and from there I can change its formatting. I'll leave the font to Tableau book but I'll increase the size from nine to ten. I'll make the type bold and I'll go from a gray to black and click ok. And when I do, you see that I get my text box here on the right.
