- [Narrator] System Center Operations Manager can monitor and alert to various different types of services and devices with Unix and Linux computers. It can monitor services and applications, file system, disk space, swap space, and system memory. Swap space is similar to the page file.sys in a windows computer, but in Linus and Unix that actually is a separate partition or volume in a Linux and Unix computer. System memory would be the same as RAM. And it can also monitor network interfaces. Network interfaces also known as network cards can be monitored for various different things such as speed, dropped packets, and other things. It can monitor core processes and attributes, as well as key system configurations. There are also general and specific management packs that can be imported. The core Unix and Linux libraries are already imported when you install Operations Manager 2016, but they are not for each specific version. You need to go into the management packs directory and…
