- [Instructor] Let's distribute content to a client. We'll use an application or package we created in a previous video. But prior to doing that, we need to go into administration, and go into our distribution point groups. From here we're going to create a new distribution point group. Let's go ahead a click Create Group, and we'll call it SCCM Deploy, but you can certainly call it anything you want. Let's go ahead and click Add for distribution points and choose our APPSERVER1 as well as our SCCM server. So, what is a distribution point group? Well, it's a group of servers that have already been set up as distribution points for software. And what we want to do, if we can, is have more than one deployment server that we can use to send out software to our clients. That way, if one server's down or too busy, then the other server will go ahead and pick up the slack. Let's go ahead and click OK. Now we're going to right click on our new distribution point group and go to Properties…
