At the end of this video, the student will learn about Azure Management certificates. These are used to create a secure link between Azure and the on-premises SCCM and devices for hybrid cloud management.
- [Instructor] We're in our domain controller,…and we're going to create a new certificate…for the web portion where we can link…up to Microsoft Azure.…We can create a PKI, a self-signed,…or a purchased public certificate.…We're going to use PKI as we showed in a previous video,…so that's why we're in our domain controller…and that is our certificate authority.…So let's go ahead and go up to tools…and choose certification authority,…and from here we'll expand and we'll go…down to our certificate templates.…
Let's right click and choose manage,…and now we're gonna scroll down to where it says web server.…Let's go ahead and right click on that…and choose to duplicate this template.…Go to the general tab, and we're going to change the name…to SCCM Cloud DP for Distribution Point.…You can also change the validity period…as you see below, as well as the renewal period.…Let's go to the request handling tab…and check the box that allows us to export the private key.…
Let's go to the security tab,…and from here we see the enterprise admin's group.…
