Real-world survey data can speed up camera tracking. Learn how to use still images, 3D models, and text files to solve 3D tracking shots with SynthEyes.
- [Voiceover] Hi this is Brian Morris and welcome to SynthEyes Tracking with Survey Data. In this course we will be looking into several techniques on how to use survey data to help solve 3D cameras so they match our scene accurately. Using survey data can help speed up our workflow, solve difficult shots, and solve multiple cameras at the same location to all fit accurately in the same scene. We'll be using a survey from stills as the common thread throughout the course but the techniques can be applied in any number of ways, including using a model and importing a text file with 3D locations.
We will start by setting up and solving a survey from stills, then we will go through several techniques to solve our camera using our survey data. Last we will solve multiple cameras in the same project so that they all match our survey. So let's get started.
