- If you're lucky, they will have shot lens grids on set, which will help for making more accurate calculations for the lens. Now, each software has their own recommendations on how to shoot for lens grids, but the most common is a straight shot of a checkerboard card. Let's take a look at some examples. Let's make sure you're on Camera01 and on the Lens tab, and if you look down on the left-hand side, there's a button here, it says Add Line. Once you click on that, we're ready to add lines to the grid. And what we're looking to do here is add lines across the grid where we think the line should be straight. So, for example, this line here that's arched should be straight. So what we wanna do is add a line from this corner to this corner, and then we're gonna use this distortion value to straighten out the grid. So, let's add a line. So, go right to this corner, go across, and once we let go, there's gonna be a popup. And for doing lens distortion, we're gonna keep it on Not oriented.…
