- If you need to manipulate your image before we begin tracking, we can use the Image Preparation window. So if we go up to Shot, come down to Image Preparation, or press "p"; let's open that up. We're just going to look at the most important ones. So under Res we have Blur, then we have Hi-Pass and that can help enhance the detail. So let's see how this works. You can see as we start to go up, we can start bringing out edges so it'll make it a little bit easier to see, and that can be useful in some situations. DownRes. This is great when you have very long sequences. You can DownRes your images by 1/2, and then you'd be able to fit everything into your cache. So you can actually play through the entire sequence. Interpolation. This is just some options that change how SynthEyes sees the footage. Channel. This one I use a lot. If you have grainy footage, this is another use for these that you can track on the Red and Green. Let's see the Red; you can see the Green channel right here…
