Working with delay

- [Instructor] Let's check out our delay effect in Sylenth. So what I have here is a preset called Up and I've turned off the delay for now. And let's check it out, let's listen. (electronic notes) It's kind of a pluck sound. But we're gonna see how much the delay really adds to this sound when it's enabled. I'm also going to turn off ping pong for now, which is enabled in its default state, but we'll come back to that. Let's listen to this sound with delay. (electronic notes) Okay, so going from left to right we have delay times in note subdivisions of a measure for the left and right channel. (electronic notes) You can see eighth note, 32nd, triplet, and so on. If we turn off sync, you'll notice that these delay times will change to milliseconds. (electronic notes) I'm gonna re-enable sync. We can adjust the feedback to get even more repetitions. (electronic notes) Cool. Now we can further customize the way our delay sounds with the low cut and high cut filters. (electronic notes)…
