Join Steven Lipton for an in-depth discussion in this video What you should know, part of Swift: Delegations and Data Sources.
- [Instructor] For this course, I'm assuming you've used Xcode and Swift before. I'll assume a lot of you are beginners. You might also be experienced developers coming from languages that don't use delegates and you haven't gotten the mindset for them yet. We'll be using a lot of arrays, so I'll assume you have the basics of arrays down. There will be some WatchOS code. If you don't know WatchOS, don't worry. I'll walk you through it. Beyond that, I'll be going through most of what you need to know.
- Recognize attributes of models.
- Differentiate between a protocol, delegate, and data source.
- Predict how delegate methods are assigned in the watchOS destination.
