- [Instructor] So what should you know coming into this course? Well this course is a basic course. So you should be able to navigate through the macOS, be able to find files, folders, install applications, et cetera. You should be able to edit a text file for the coding that we're going to be doing, including copying and pasting parts of the code. Ideally you'd be familiar with Swift basics, however a knowledge of programming is not required, but any knowledge of any language will help.
For this course we're going to write approximately 20 lines of code. I will explain each line of code in detail as we write it as well. So even if you're brand new to programming, you should be able to get through the course, and I'll also point you in the direction that you can go to get more information as we are writing that code. So if you look at this list and you feel comfortable, then you're ready to go forward with this course.
