Join Todd Perkins for an in-depth discussion in this video How to use the exercise files, part of Learning iOS 10 App Development: 4 Application Architecture.
- [Instructor] The exercise files for this course are organized by chapters. For this course there's only one chapter, and in that chapter folder you're going to find the appropriate files for each movie. On your screen you're going to see a prompt that shows you which file to open up. The file you want to open is the Xcode project file. And of course you can open that up by simply double-clicking the file, as you've likely done before. In addition, for some movies I've included start and final versions of the exercise files for your convenience.
The file that you wanna open up when following along with the movie is the one inside of the start folder. The final is there just for a reference if you need to look at it for any reason at all. If you don't have the exercise files, you can still follow along. We're only using built-in assets for this course and a minimal amount of code. So on my screen you'll see exactly how to set up your project so you can follow along as well.
