What to know before watching this course

- Here's what you need to know to follow along with me in this course. Firstly, Survey Monkey offers a number of different plans for personal and business use. From the free, basic personal plan to many paid options with more and more additional features. I'll be working with one of the Survey Monkey business plans called Team Advantage. It's the first paid option of the business plans that will give us some extra features we won't get with the free personal plan. And you can check out all of the plans at SurveyMonkey.com under plans and pricings. And don't worry, I'll let you know what's free and what's paid for as we move through the features in this course. So, to follow along with me step by step you'll need to create at least a basic free account at SurveyMonkey.com for some of the lessons or pay for the Team Advantage plan to follow along in every lesson. But of course you can still learn lots by simply sitting back, relaxing and watching. Also, while Survey Monkey supports a variety of browsers I'll be using it with Safari on a Mac computer. But because it's cloud based you can follow along with me using Chrome on a Mac or Windows PC, using Firefox, Internet Explorer 9 or later, even the Edge browser on a Windows PC. And regardless of the browser you choose to use, Survey Monkey recommends updating it to the latest version. And be sure to enable both JavaScript and cookies in your browser if you haven't already because Survey Monkey requires both to be enabled to work properly. Lastly, there are some limited exercise files. If you do plan on using them I highly recommend placing them in a convenient location such as on the desktop. In the exercise files you'll find just a couple of files, a logo that we'll be using in one of our surveys and some sample questions in Word format. Now, if you don't have access to the exercise files, not to worry. You can still follow along by simply sitting back again, relaxing and watching. So, that's what you need to know to follow along with me in this course. With so much to cover, let's get started with Survey Monkey.
