- [Instructor] In this video…we're going to take a look at how to use the smudge brush,…and that's going to work pretty similar in set up…to the clone tool that we covered in the previous video.…So to demonstrate this, I'm going to create…a new standard layer, and first I'm going to…just use my brush tool and I'm going to create…some type of stroke here that I can then try to smudge.…So, let's take a look here.…Let's come over to our brush.…We'll use the default brush.…Let me set up a material here.…So I'm going to create something that's pretty low roughness.…Let's add a color here.…Make this kind of dark.…
And for metal, we want this to be a non-metal.…So let me just see what we have here.…So we have something like this, kind of shiny.…So we'll use this so far.…Now let's come back here to our brush…and let me take a look at an alpha.…Let me try this corner alpha here,…so I'm just going to select this guy,…and here's what we get.…Alright, so I'm going to zoom in on this area,…and we'll make this just a little bit bigger…
