Using masking with our substance materials is a way that we can add damage and dirt to them in a subtle and very realistic fashion, and all without too much work at all. Here we will use the prebaked maps that we created right at the start of the course, showing us the importance of getting them right. We can then use procedural and editable generators to create complex masking scenarios.
