Learn how to create the grip and handle materials.
- [Narrator] In this video we're going to work on the handle.…So if I want to quickly select a texture set,…I could do that right here from the viewport.…So, for instance, I want to get back to this grip,…so I'm going to hold Ctrl Alt and right mouse click…over the group or the area on the mesh…and what that's going to do is just automatically…select the texture set for me, so here you can see that…it's selected Grip Barrel.…And what I'm going to do is I'm going to reuse this material here.…Now I haven't created the smart material out of this.…
What I’m doing this case is just simply just copy it,…so let's just copy these layers,…then again Ctrl Alt and right click here on the handle…and that's going to select the handle texture set for us.…And then here in the layer stack,…I'm just going to right click and choose Paste layers.…So here we go, we have that grip.…Now we just need to make a few changes here,…so I'm just going to come into the group itself…and I don't need that bottom height anymore,…so I'm just going to delete that.…
