Using the Explorer pane
- [Narrator] The Explorer section of the designer UI, this is a small and yet very important part of the program that really gives us the ability to create new substance packages and graphs share and distribute our material creations and bake detailed data driven maps from any models that we may have imported into the project. So with our substance document open then, what we can see is that we currently have two entries in the list. And so let's come over to our graph and then drag and drop a new node into the view via the quick access toolbar. What we see back in the Explorer panel now is that the name in the list has become italicized and also has an asterisk next to it. Now, once one of the entries have been selected, in our case, let's select the top entry. We will see that we now have three options that become enabled for us. Now, the first option lets us open our substance material in an external application called…
