- [Narrator] In this chapter we're going to cover what I personally describe as some of the most important tools available for both using and configuring the 2D and 3D views that we have in Substance Designer. In this particular video we're going to start with the navigation controls for the 3D view and take a look at a few of the keyboard shortcuts that can be a big help in terms of our day to day workflow. Now I do want to add a quick disclaimer here in that the terminology I will be using to describe the controls and actions in the view port does differ from that found in the Substance Designer documentation. The simple reason for this being that in many instances application help documentation uses technically inaccurate terminology to describe things like basic camera operations. And whilst I would encourage everyone not to be too uptight about exact terminology I do think that is important that as an instructor I teach these to you correctly and then let you make your own mind…
