- Whilst substance designer can certainly be used to create materials and textures for landscapes and other large surface areas such as pavements, brick walls, wooden floors, and so on, it can also be very effectively used when creating base materials for specific areas of a static mesh object. Now, in order to use substance designer detection asset for a project effectively, though, there are a few important factors to keep in mind that we will, of course now discuss. First of all, then we need to decide how many unique materials our model will actually need. So do we want it to contain multiple textures in a single material, or does the makeup of the model require multiple substance graphs that can then be blended together inside a final graph?
