In this video, you will learn how to avoid bad habit number 3, which is not matching graphics. You will learn how to apply a consistent formatting to graphics on the same slide and throughout your entire project to create a consistent look that is not distracting.
- [Instructor] Bad habit number three…involves the use of graphics.…When graphics don't match things can get distracting…and you don't want a distracted audience.…So to keep your learners on track and focused,…you should use matching graphics…not just on the same slide but throughout your…elearning course.…So we'll continue working with bad habits.…We already have some graphics across the bottom…that we worked with in the previous movie,…and when we go to the next slide,…we see a nice looking graphic, no border.…
We go to the next slide, there's two.…One has a border, one doesn't.…That doesn't match.…And you can see how it can get distracting.…So let's make all of our graphics consistently…looking the same.…We'll start with slide two and we'll mark…key select by clicking and dragging around…all of those images at the bottom,…and we'll go up to the format tab to format our graphics.…Let's go to perspective shadow white…and give it a click and see what that looks like.…I kind of like the border but I don't like the shadow.…
