In this video, you will learn how to avoid bad habit number 5, which is forgetting about unity. You will learn how to use basic layouts to enforce unity and manually adjust slides to create unity in your projects.
- [Narrator] The last bad habit we're going to explore…is unity.…Quite often we forget how important unity can be.…For continuity, consistency…and to help our learners locate the content…that's important to them.…Well here in Articulate Storyline 2…when we go to Add New Slides,…and we're still working with…our Bad Habit's project here…from the chapter six folder.…You'll notice that we can go…to Basic Layouts…where we see things are laid out…and if we choose any one of these slides…and have multiple copies of that slide,…with different content,…it's going to create this consistent…look and feel of unity.…
So let's click cancel…and take a look at what we have so far.…If we look at our first slide…well we're just looking at visual notes here.…And that's a little bit different…from your regular content.…When we get to slide two…we get into more traditional content,…text and images.…And then we see in slide three…we have the image on the left,…text on the right.…Same thing for slide four,…we're getting more consistent now.…
