In this video, learn how to use good habit number one, which to use images properly. Find out how to use high quality and relevant images, and to use images of the same format (i.e., bitmap vs. vector).
- [Instructor] Well, in this chapter…we're going to explore the five of visual design habits…you should use when designing your e-learning courses…here in Storyline two.…Five good habits to keep,…including what we're going to talk about in this movie,…the use of images.…It's important that you use the right images,…that they be relevant,…that they be of high quality.…And they should be in a similar look and feel, or format.…So, taking a look at this project called Good Habits,…which you'll find in the chapter seven folder…of your exercise files in slide one,…we do see some imagery here.…
I like the image…of the West End Landon in London.…The character down below,…which is of a different type,…it's more clipart than it is photograph, doesn't match.…It doesn't need to be there.…And remember, you don't have to fill up all the empty space,…in fact empty space, or what we call white space, is good.…So, let's start by cleaning this up…by selecting the character…and pressing delete on the keyboard to remove her.…You can see how that already looks much better.…
