- In this movie, we'll set up to record audio,…and we'll record a guitar part to this backing track…looking at some recording options along the way…like punching in.…So, here's a song we'd like to add…an electric guitar part to.…The first thing we'll need to do is make…a new audio track to record our electric part on.…Go up here, and click the plus button,…or just type t to add track.…Now, from here, we can name the track.…We'll name it Elec Guit for electric guitar,…and we want to make sure we choose the right type of track.…
Right now, it's set to Audio which is actually what we want,…but if you were recording an instrument or a different…type of track, you could select your new track type there.…We'll keep this checked to Audio.…Below that, we can choose how many…Audio tracks we want to make.…We'll just be making one track here,…but you can make as many as you want.…Then, you can choose a color for either the one track…or you can auto-color all of your tracks.…I'm going to actually turn off auto-color…and give it a nice orange color.…
