Use variables to track learner choices

- [Instructor] Okay, in this movie we're going to set up a variable, just a single variable, to track which character has been selected. So that will be used when we go into future slides to know which character state to dynamically change. So let's create that variable. So we come over here again to the project variables window. And we'll create a new variable. Now the two easiest variables to work with would be text and number. We could use true false but it would be a little bit more work. Text to me works the best because we can create a single variable and then set the value of that variable based on which character we click using the character's name. That'll be kind of easy to manage because we already know we can see the character's name down there. We'll name them here in the timeline as well. But then having that name and setting the value of the variable, I think just makes that a little easier. So create that new variable and we'll call it character, that's fine. Text…
