- [Instructor] Well, we already know that reading text on a slide can get boring after a while, so to add visual interest, we can add graphical elements. One element you might consider adding is an illustrated character that might look like he or she is speaking the words that appear on the slide. That can make things interesting for our learners. That's what we're going to do in this movie. Our Orientation0302 project, if you're catching up, is where we're going, and we're going to a new scene we created earlier, the Quiz scene. So click the drop-down for the Scenes and select Quiz. It's one blank slide that came with the new scene and this is an ideal place to welcome learners to the quiz or ask them if they're ready, for example. But instead of just adding the text to the slide, we'll add a character that looks like they're speaking that text. So we do that by going to the Insert tab, click there.
