When content on your slide is lacking in excitement, or when content is difficult to see, you create a zoom region to zoom into that area of your slide. In this moive, you will know how to insert a zoom region, adjust it to fit an area on your slide, and set properties for when it zooms in and out on the timeline as well as how quickly or slowliy the effect takes place.
- [Voiceover] One cool effect you can use here…in Storyline 2 to add some visual interest…to your project is a Zoom Region.…We're going to do that with this file,…LH_CS_0305…from the Chapter Three folder of your Exercise Files.…You can see, we're in Scene Three,…the Paris scene on slide two,…where we see an image of the hotel…in the Latin Quarter and some text down the side.…Well, we can add a Zoom Region,…and maybe have it so that when we…come to this slide, in the course,…we're zoomed into this hotel.…
And, we zoom out to view the text.…You could also use Zoom Regions…to align with narrations and all kinds…of cool effects.…All we're gonna do is add in a Zoom Region…at the beginning of our Timeline.…When we go up to the Insert tab,…you'll find Zoom Region…in the Slide group here.…Give it a click.…Next, you'll see the default Zoom Region,…which is quite large,…but there are handles in the corners.…When you see the double diagonal arrow,…you can click and drag.…It's going to maintain Aspect Ratio.…I'm gonna drag it right down so it's smaller…
