- As you're drawing in Storyboard Pro, you need to zoom in and out at times or move around in both your art and in your timeline. And that's one of the great benefits of drawing digitally. You can zoom in as close as you want. Because when you're drawing on paper, all you can do is just lean closer to the paper, which gets really difficult as you get a lot older. One of the benefits of drawing on animation desks is that the disk will rotate around to give you access to your art from different angles. Now, you can also do the same thing digitally as you draw. And moving around in your drawing area is the same as in most drawing programs. All you have to do is hold down your spacebar and you'll get the little hand icon. You click and drag. And now I can move my art around anywhere in the frame that I want. If I move it around out to the side and I want to instantly shift it back, I can hold down the shift and the m key.
