Using video tracks

- [Instructor] There are lots and lots of uses for video tracks for both animation and live action productions. So, for instance, videos could be used for reference. So, for instance, I've got this baby video that we'll be using here, dancing up and down. So maybe I've got a character I want dancing and I can use it as a reference for posing. Or, let's say I want to use it for timing. So if I've got this, this hand is bouncing up and down, so I put a marker here on down point, I'll scroll to the next down point right there, and I'll go to Storyboard, Markers, Add Marker. And you can see the little red marker right there. And I can time out my actions using video. Or, let's say I need to add some animation, or some special effects, or add something onto the video so I can draw right over it for our special effects unit. So I drew that one ear, and, let's see, maybe we wanna have just a piece of another ear back there, and add elf ears. Maybe we want to add our animated character over…
